Woke up to find my horror story “Sweet Death” featured on Season 20, Episode 24 of the incredibly cool No Sleep Podcast. These folks do an excellent job turning short stories into audio drama, and I’m tickled (ha) to be there along with a handful of other banging tales. I’m overdoing the slang-o, kids. Check it out!
Good news achieved, but not for public display…yet. Instead, trust that I bought a very fine bottle of tequila to celebrate.
This will come up again, but what the hell, right? The third issue of the much-heralded Hooghly Review is coming April 15th, featuring my story “The Blind Girl.”
In case you missed it (because I didn’t tell anyone until, oh, about now), I wrote another “Cheap Wine” column for Poverty House, that bastion of the sad but hopeful.

Also, as I listen to a webinar and leaf through an advert, how does Dunham's Sports get off advertising Blazer Brass 9mm on sale for 14.99? That's a regular price. Not a "SAVE $4" price. Sheesh.
I was busy over the weekend and did not check my emails. My apologies for my late reply.
Unfortunately all the responses that come to mind for "Good news achieved, but not for public display...yet." come off as super mean.
Unintentionally "super mean" is on brand for me. Yet, I must refrain.
