Thoughts on AWP? Just one: never again.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed meeting some people I’ve only known online, and a few old friends, but other than that, it’s not for me. Next.
Anyway, it’s a big pub day for my work! I hope you’ll go grab all this over at Amazon.
My story “Piece of Shit Guitar” is now out in the incredible anthology Red Headed Writing, stories “incited” by Willie Nelson, from (who else?) Cowboy Jamboree Press.
And with an assist from CJP, Leftover Books brings us Sundown, a collection “incited” by the legendary Gordon Lightfoot, in which my story “Must Be Wanderlust” appears.
And I’ve got another one in Guilty Crime Story Magazine! Second appearance in that heralded zine. Pick it up for “A Skull Full of Solyanka” plus some other excellent pieces from the finest in crime writing.
Yikes!
There’s still the next issue of Hooghly Review coming, too, and eagerly awaiting a story in Bull: Men’s Fiction.
One I’m really thrilled about for later this year: my story “Twenty-Eleven Nissan Something” is forthcoming in esteemed crime mag Rock & A Hard Place. Notch another one on the dream journal list.
I didn’t really realize just how much stuff I have coming along here until I had to type it all out. Pretty exciting times. But now I need to work on some more work over the next couple of months to get out there on the market. Keep runnin’ and runnin’ and runnin’ and runnin’…
Thanks for reading. Means the world to me.
I'll purchase the Cowboy press one. Bought HANK MIGHTA from them and it circ'ed only three times. Oh well.
